Brasserie Abode | VIP Launch Party

A few weeks back I wrote a post about celebrating my birthday at Manchester hotel Abode – this beautiful boutique hotel was everything that I wanted it to be and the perfect way to celebrate turning another year older. (You can read my full birthday post HERE) So when I heard that Brasserie Abode, Abode’s stunningly chic restaurant and bar, was hosting it’s VIP launch party, I simply had to attend.

The launch, with a clear French inspired theme, was a champagne fuelled evening full of entertainment, laughter and a clear sense of je ne sais quoi. Hosted by the remarkable Vital PR, the event was fabulous from start to finish, with the beautifully designed canapés, to the constantly flowing champagne, and my favourite part, the Moulin Rouge inspired green Absinth drag queen fairy, who I have to say looked better than Kylie did in the movie.

Providing the nights entertainment was no other than the fabulous Girls That Mix, the perfect musical medley for the launch with DJ E.M.A on the decks, accompanied by phenomenal instrumental and percussion musicians. Special guests at the event included Catherine Tyldesley, Brooke Vincent, Lucy Jo Hudson & Alan Halsall, Natalie Anderson, Tisha Merry, Sam Robertson and Bruno Langley.

Brasserie Abode itself has a stunning decor of black and white chevron tiled flooring, along with VIP Booths, exposed iron beams, and a strong brass presence throughout. It is a beautiful venue and one for which I cannot wait to return to try out the new menu.
